18 Week Program
Half-size curling stones (“Little Rocks”) on half to full sheets of ice. Little Rocks throw half-weight rocks down a half-sheet (and as they improve, the full-length sheet) of ice. The Little Rock program is run by trained/certified coaches.
We have three 45 minute time slots available: 12:30-1:15pm, 1:30-2:15pm or 2:30-3:15pm - please indicate your preferred time on the waiver form.
The Little Rock Program allows kids to learn the strategies and skills that will develop them into seasoned young curlers. The program is designed to be an introduction to the sport for kids in an enjoyable, non-competitive atmosphere.
RCCC provides all curling equipment. Participants need to bring clean soft soled indoor running shoes. Clothing should be warm, lose or stretchy fitting to comfortably enable getting into a curling delivery position. Layers are best.
Please note, Curling Canada & the Royal City Curling Club requires curlers under the age of 12 to wear a CSA approved helmet for ice sports.
